Summary
I am a biologist and Ph.D. candidate with 6+ years of experience in biomedical research, university teaching, bioinformatics, and data analysis. I specialise in computational biology, omics analysis and computational drug discovery, as well as the connection between experimental biology and data-driven approaches. I am experienced in using Python, R and UNIX, as well as a variety of tools for network analysis, molecular docking and life sciences research.
I particularly enjoy turning complex biological data into practical scientific insight. I enjoy working on problems at the intersection of bioinformatics and experimental biology, as this is where I can contribute to rigorous analysis and meaningful decision-making. I am especially motivated by learning new methods and tools that improve our analysis of life science data and support better research outcomes.
Outside of work, I enjoy anime and manga, and I also like spending quiet evenings at home watching films or TV series with my partner. Despite spending a lot of time learning, improving my skills and exploring new techniques in bioinformatics and data analysis, I value a balanced personal life.
