I am Dr. Prawar, an Assistant Professor at K.R. Mangalam University Gurugram, specializing in Reliability engineering. My research focuses on predicting the reliability and failure behavior of complex systems across various industries, including transportation, energy, and manufacturing.
Background and Expertise
My academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Amity University (Jan 2021 – Sept 2024), with a minor in Probability and Statistics and a major in Reliability Optimization. Prior to this, I completed an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (2020) and a B.Sc. (Honors) in Mathematics (2018), holding an O-Level Diploma in Computer Concepts and Programming Tools.
My interdisciplinary interests are broad, covering machine learning for predictive analytics, biomechanics for healthcare, aviation system reliability, fuzzy networks, image processing, and inventory management. * Previous Role: Ph.D. research scholar and Mathematics instructor at Amity Institute of Applied Sciences in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (January 2021 – September 2024).
* Research Output: I have a strong publication record in my field, with work accepted in journals like WSEAS Transactions on Environment and Development, Journal of Electrical Systems, and Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry. Key topics include optimizing system efficiency, integrating Semi-Markov Processes for maintenance, and utilizing AI for enhanced skin cancer detection.
* Volunteering/Service: I am a Founding Member of the Journal of International Research in Science & Technology (JIRST) and work as an Active Reviewer for several Scopus indexed journals, including WSEAS and Sustainability.
