Summary
Since 1.10.2014, I work as a Senior Research Funding Advisor at the Viikki Campus (home to the life sciences), University of Helsinki.
Prior to this, I have worked as a researcher, lecturer and project manager at the School of Forest Sciences, University of Eastern Finland. In research, my interests are mainly within the areas of:
- Bioenergy (incl. socio-economic aspects, acceptance & perceptions & bioenergy-related conflicts)
- Forestry & nature resource management education (competencies, curriculum, pedagogics, ICT)
- International cooperation and development in the above-mentioned areas particularly in Africa, Asia & Latin America
