I am a highly motivated, ambitious and hard-working person. I believe I can contribute to the role utilizing my experience and skills gained over the years working in the biology industry. Furthermore it is my privilege to expand my knowledge and skills and to further my career within your company.
Personal info: 37 years old Israeli male, married with 3 lovely kids. Hebrew is my mother tongue, English I can read, write and speak fluently. Currently I work in an English speaking environment.
Work experience: More than 6 years of experience in the molecular biology industry –Medical Device/Diagnostics – filling several roles. Currently the director of research and development in an IVD company for microorganisms and antibiotic resistance bacteria in sepsis and other human tissues. Starting as a R&D scientist in this medical device company working primarily with microbiology and molecular biology methods as qPCR, and moving into manager of product validations position within the company. Design of validation studies, writing plans and protocols, and taking part in management meetings were the majority of this role. Managing team of workers and lab work were part of it as well. I filled a role of scientific support, customer care, and sales as part of expanding my skills. In this position I opened myself into many research fields and methods. Together with that I learned the logic of administration as working with SAP software and more. Through the master research I gained experience in cell cultures, fluorescent microscopy and RNA methods. In the more distant past I had a lovely period working as an animal keeper and a guide in the Biblical zoo of Jerusalem.
Education: by 2008 I finished my master’s research in the bio-medical science at the Hebrew university following a BSc degree in biology at the same institute. MSc diploma from 2011. Together with this I have postgraduate certificate in business entrepreneurship from regional governmental business development center.
To sum up I’m a hard worker and a quick learner; I can be very productive in a teamwork as well as an individual work; I can very much multi task and stand in pressure.
