Development of therapeutic approaches to combat inflammation especially, neuroinflammation, diabetes and obesity.
Elucidation of the impact of single nucleotide polymorphisms (snps) on the anti-obesity impact of herbal-based medicines.
Detailed investigations on the influence of gut microbial-host interaction on the onset and progression of metabolic disorders at molecular levels using Real-time PCR, microarray, PCR-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis fingerprinting, and pyrosequencing, as well as different bioinformatics tools for functional annotation and analyses of correlation, principal coordinate, and clustering.
Development of therapeutic approaches that improves memory impairment and reduces Aß level in the Alzheimer’s disease.

Targeting Insulin Glycation: Elucidation of molecular mechanism using proteomics tools and Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR).

Development of MALDI-TOF-Mass Spectrometry-based proteomics tools that would have potential applications in biological and pharmaceutical research especially for the identification of biomarkers of certain diseases.

Currently, these products are on the process of patenting and commercialization. While, some others are under development.
