10x PBS buffer (10x Phosphate Buffered Saline)

Materials

To prepare 1L of 10x solution, you need:

• 80.1 g NaCl
• 2 g KCl
• 14.4 g Na2HPO4
• 2.7 g KH2PO4
• HCl
• deionized water

Procedure

1. Dissolve all reagents in 800 mL deionized water.
2. Adjust pH to 7.4 with HCl
3. Add deionized water to 1L.
4. Autoclave.

Dilute stock solution 10:1 to make a 1x working solution.

1x buffer will contain 137 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 10 mM Na2HPO4, 2 mM K2HPO4.
