Summary
The detection of correlations between the expression levels or sub-cellular localization of different proteins with specific characteristics of human tumors, such as e.g. grade of malignancy, may give important hints of functional associations. Here we describe the method we use for relative quantification of immunofluorescence staining of tumor tissue sections, which allows us to compare between different samples based on objective data. With this strategy we have quantified, for instance, the amounts of nuclear FOXO3a and Beta-Catenin proteins in human colon carcinomas.Further details
