Materials
- 0.2 g copper sulfate, pentahydrate (0.1% w/v)
- 0.4 g potassium tartarate (0.2% w/v)
- 100 mL 20% sodium carbonate (10% w/v)
Procedure
Mix the copper sulfate and potassium tartarate in 100 mL water. While stirring, add 100 mL of 20% sodium carbonate solution to the copper sulfate/potassium tartarate solution.
Store indefinitely at 4°C or up to 1 month at RT.
