Procedure
1. Stock solution:
20 mg/ml Proteinase K in water. Store at -20°C.
2. Working concentration:
50 micrograms/ml.
3. Reaction buffer:
| 10 mM Tris-Cl (pH 7.8) |
| 5mM EDTA |
| 0.5% SDS |
4. Reaction temperature:
37-56°C.
