[Spontaneous regression of colorectal cancer liver metastasis].

Abstract

The mechanism of spontaneous regression of metastatic colorectal carcinoma in the liver remains incompletely understood. This article describes a case of spontaneous tumor regression in a metastatic lesion of colorectal cancer with microsatellite instability. An immune response to the neoantigen-rich tumor may have contributed to the spontaneous regression of the metastasis.
