Abstract
A patient diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and treatment-resistant depression (TRD) developed postoperative serotonin syndrome after exposure to venlafaxine, opioids, stimulants, and cannabis. The Hunter criteria facilitated the diagnosis; discontinuation of serotonergic agents and supportive measures led to reversal.
