Abstract

Bi-modified Ni3S2 enables ambient aqueous nitrite reduction oximation to cyclohexanone oxime with 52.78% Faradaic efficiency and 0.42 mmol h-1 cm-2 yield. Bi regulates Ni3S2 electronic structure and interfacial water, promoting selective NH2OH-mediated nitrogen-organic coupling for sustainable caprolactam precursor synthesis.
