Abstract

Buried Au nanoparticles at the NiOx interface induce size-dependent localized surface plasmon resonance. Optimized 80 nm particles provide strong near-field enhancement and accelerate radiative recombination without shifting the 535 nm emission. Air-processed transparent PeLEDs achieve a record total EQE of 20.25%, among the highest reported.
