Abstract

We report an extremely rare case of GP2-NTRK1 fusion-positive pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) with liver metastases in a 78 year-old woman. PDAC is an aggressive cancer that presents with locally advanced or metastatic disease in more than 50% of patients at the time of diagnosis. This is the first case of GP2-NTRK1 fusion-positive PDAC that was successfully treated with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel followed by entrectinib and larotrectinib, which resulted in long-term survival of more than 54 months from diagnosis and 34 months from initiation of TRK inhibitor therapy.
