A total of 141 compounds were collected, including volatile oil components, flavonoids, lignans, quinones, triterpenoids, and steroids. The most important pharmacological effect of Serissa is its anti-inflammatory action, which is commonly used in the treatment of diseases such as hepatitis and nephritis.
