Abstract

We present the complete genome sequence of the prodigiosin-producing bacterium Serratia plymuthica EIF4 isolated from freshwater in Osterode am Harz, Germany. The genome comprises a 5,539,881-bp chromosome and a 91,684-bp plasmid with guanine-cytosine contents of 55.84 and 52.36%, respectively.
