Abstract
The 2026 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology was held in Chicago, IL, from May 29 to June 2, 2026, with live and on-demand online access. The event gathered more than 44,000 oncology professionals and showcased more than 3400 abstracts, featuring over 450 oral presentations and 2700 poster presentations. In addition to highlighting new research findings, educational sessions addressed the current challenges in managing various cancers. This narrative review summarizes the most significant presentations on gynecologic malignancies, selected based on their innovation, clinical importance, and their potential to guide treatment decisions. Major updates included immunotherapy combinations, antibody-drug conjugates, targeted treatments, and biomarker-driven strategies across ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers. Selected presentations addressed ongoing unmet clinical needs, such as treatment sequencing after disease progression, the timing of surgical interventions, refinement of predictive biomarkers, mature data from pivotal trials, and the optimization of therapeutic combinations. This article highlights the studies expected to influence clinical practice in gynecologic oncology and outlines future research directions, reaffirming the American Society of Clinical Oncology's commitment to providing the latest insights on gynecologic malignancies.
