Abstract

We report the complete genome sequences of 20 clinical Streptococcus pyogenes isolates obtained from patients with invasive infections in Japan. These genome sequences are provided as a resource to support molecular epidemiology and pathogenicity studies of invasive S. pyogenes infections.
