Abstract
Postoperative alterations in peritoneal anatomical planes, unclosed mesenteric defects after reimplanted ureter may pose risk of internal hernia. This case report begins with a typical clinical case to present our team's diagnostic and therapeutic process for intestinal obstruction caused by internal hernia following ureteral reimplantation. By integrating literature reviews on clinical features, surgical strategies, prevention and management of complications related to post-ureteral reimplantation internal hernia, as well as preventive measures during the initial ureteral reconstruction, we aim to provide clinical basis and reference for the primary prevention, early clinical identification, and intraoperative management strategies for internal hernia after ureteral reimplantation.
