Abstract
Non-cirrhotic portal hypertension (NCPH) refers to portal hypertension that occurs in patients without cirrhosis. Currently, the diagnosis rate is gradually increasing, but the existing etiologies are highly heterogeneous and are not yet fully clarified. The present basic NCPH treatment strategies are etiological intervention and complication management of portal hypertension; however, etiological research is relatively limited. Therefore, an in-depth study of etiology and multidisciplinary collaborative management throughout the entire process is significantly crucial for further improving the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment in patients with NCPH.
