Abstract

A novel Pd/La-MgO catalyst featuring few-atom Pd clusters on submonolayer-like La2O3 domains decorating an MgO support has been developed, which delivered an ethylene selectivity of ∼98% at 100% acetylene conversion and maintained stable performance for 100 h on stream.
