Abstract

On the 80th anniversary of the French social security system, this article offers a critical analysis of its evolution through the social movements that have defended it, the contemporary transformations it faces, and the essential role of social workers in its daily implementation. It seeks to reexamine the foundations of the French solidarity pact and to highlight care and connection professions as key agents of social transformation.
