Abstract
A study on Portulaca oleracea L. resulted in the identification of a previously undescribed amide derivative, oleracrylimide G (1), along with eight known metabolites. The full structural assignments were achieved using comprehensive spectroscopic data. Assays demonstrated that oleracrylimide G (1) exerts significant anti-inflammatory effects, markedly inhibiting the secretion of IL-1β and IL-6 in LPS-induced inflammatory models at a concentration of 20 μM. These results reveal that the compound possesses potent anti-inflammatory activity.
