Abstract

Caregiver play a central but often underestimated role in the treatment of depression. The stress they experience has a significant impact on the course of the disorder, the risk of relapse, and the success of treatment. Psychoeducation and targeted involvement not only improve the well-being of caregiver but also the prognosis for patients.
