Abstract

Kondo et al. describe crystal structures of a heterotetrameric complex of BRAF and MEK that reveal a heretofore unseen asymmetric interaction of the N-terminal acidic motif in the BRAF dimer and capture BRAF in the act of phosphorylating MEK.
