Abstract
Using MOR zeolite as a model, this study shows that controlled ball milling tunes particle size and intracrystalline diffusion pathways, balancing CO2 diffusion and CH4 exclusion. Moderate milling improves CO2 mass transfer and delays breakthrough, but damages pore integrity, highlighting the trade-off between diffusion efficiency and molecular sieving.
