Abstract

This is a review of the recent book, Imogene King's Conceptual Framework and Theory of Goal Attainment by Newman et al. (2025). The editors present chapters on philosophy, examples of current research based on King's framework and theory, as well as the application of King's philosophical foundations to ethical patient care dilemmas posed by 21st century technology developments. The final chapter addresses spirituality, principles, tools, and applications.
