Abstract

Vulvar haematomas are a rare cause of postpartum haemorrhage. They are easy to diagnose but require qualified personnel with adequate technical facilities for treatment. We report the case of a 22-year-old woman, G2P2V2, who was referred from a community health centre for painful vulvar swelling that occurred one hour after vaginal delivery. She was treated surgically in our department.
