Abstract

Direct air capture (DAC) suffers from challenges related to co-adsorption of water during CO2 capture. This work reports a self-supporting hydrophobic solid amine polymer exhibiting a CO2 uptake of 5.2 wt% under real DAC conditions and a suppressed water uptake of 9.2 wt%, 2.9-fold lower than a conventional counterpart.
