Abstract

Rehabilitation of the edentulous maxilla with implant-supported restorations is a complex procedure requiring comprehensive treatment planning and precise clinical execution. The First Global Consensus for Clinical Guidelines (GCCG) established a systematic, evidence-based, and patient-centered workflow for the rehabilitation of the edentulous maxilla. This article presents the clinical application of the treatment procedures component of the GCCG workflow through a step-by-step case report, illustrating the recommended clinical protocol for rehabilitation of an edentulous maxilla. The presented protocol provides a practical framework for translating the GCCG recommendations into routine clinical practice.
