Abstract

The CAPITAL trial shows that SOX improves survival over S-1 after D2 gastrectomy for stage II-III gastric cancer.¹ Its broader implication is that further progress will depend on how patients are selected and how systemic therapy is integrated with surgery, not only on the choice of regimen.
