Abstract

Controlled synthesis affords two isostructural CTU-based covalent metal-organic frameworks with distinct interlayer stacking modes (eclipsed AA vs. staggered ABC). Interestingly, simple addition of TFA enables an ABC-to-AA stacking conversion that dynamically modulates porosity. Moreover, the ABC mode exhibits a 2.8-fold rate enhancement in CO2 cycloaddition over the AA counterpart.
