Abstract

A design of experiments approach was used to build a poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylamide (PEGDAAm) hydrogel library and identify the key formulation factors governing protein release. The optimized formulation demonstrated low protein release, and its translational potential was confirmed by loading uricase enzyme, which exhibited low release while maintaining enzymatic activity.
