Abstract

In a recent paper published in Blood Science, Sha et al. report that STAT3 inhibition eliminates multiple myeloma stem-like cells while eliciting hallmarks of immunogenic cell death. These highly intriguing findings connect stemness, integrated stress response, and antitumor immunity, yet in vivo validation remains necessary before this strategy can be considered immunogenic.
