Abstract

Giving birth to a child in exile and then raising that child in a transcultural setting - that is, in a context different from the one in which one grew up - is a situation that requires parents and professionals alike to draw on a wide range of resources. The well-being of migrant parents and their children depends on this collaboration. It is therefore essential to have a clear understanding of one another in order to best support the development of these children of migrant parents.
