Abstract
Older adult falls are a common and costly issue that threatens older adult well-being and burdens health care systems. The 2025 National Falls Prevention Action Plan provides a framework for action to reduce older adult falls. The Plan was developed through extensive surveys of professionals and a nationwide summit. Underscoring the need for a multisector commitment to falls prevention, it reflects input from hundreds of professionals across the aging, disability, housing, government, technology, research, and advocacy sectors. This article presents the plan's strategies with recommendations for incorporation into clinical practice and partnership with community organizations.
