Abstract

The title salt, C₆H₁₃N₃P⁺·NO₃ ^- or [PTAH][NO₃], crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with two independent PTAH⁺ cations and two nitrate anions in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the PTAH⁺ and oxygen atoms of the nitrate anion, forming a three-dimensional supra-molecular structure.
