Structural Revision of Natural Dibenzofurans Based on Their Spectroscopic Characteristics.

Abstract

Dibenzofurans are a relatively small but important group of natural products. To better identify, explore, and utilize these compounds, this paper summarizes their spectroscopic characteristics for the first time. A comprehensive analysis was conducted on a total of 208 natural dibenzofurans. The structures of 37 dibenzofurans may have been incorrectly interpreted, of which 30 were revised, with the remaining seven pending identification. Furthermore, the NMR chemical shifts of another 23 dibenzofurans were reassigned or completely assigned.
